Silk Crepe De Chine - Maisie

This Italian ex designer silk crepe de chine is one of those fabrics that sounds slightly questionable when you list the colours, then looks unexpectedly fabulous when you see it. Hazy pink, soft grey and mauve mingle with deep olive green and dark brown in a wonderfully bewildered abstract print. Is it floral? Is it camouflage? Has somebody started painting flowers and then changed their mind halfway through? We’re not entirely sure, and that is rather the point. The muted palette keeps the whole thing sophisticated rather than shouty.

Made from 100% silk, it has that beautiful crepe de chine combination of a softly textured surface, fluid drape and light, elegant handle. It is fine and floaty without the high shine of a satin. At 135cm wide, we can see this becoming a loose blouse, softly gathered dress, bias cut skirt, wide leg trousers or a wonderfully swishy kimono style layer. A very Italian sort of print: unusual, chic and considerably better looking than “pink, grey, green and brown abstract camouflage” has any right to be.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)

Delivery

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
