This 150cm wide sylkoil waxed cotton comes in a deep earthy brown with the distinctive matt finish that has made this type of cloth a favourite for heritage outerwear. At 237gsm (approximately 6oz), it offers a lighter, more supple feel than heavier waxed cottons whilst still providing excellent protection from the elements. The unshorn cotton surface gives the fabric a natural appearance with subtle variation and character throughout.
Sylkoil develops a unique patina as it is worn, with creases and marks becoming part of the fabric's story rather than flaws. Its softer handle makes it particularly suitable for jackets, overshirts, gilets, bags and outdoor accessories where comfort is just as important as durability. A practical fabric with genuine heritage appeal, equally at home in the countryside or on the high street.
