Takes the Biscuit

A beautifully fine Italian cotton twill in a soft biscuit-y beige, although milky coffee probably describes the colour even better. It has that warm, creamy café-au-lait tone that sits somewhere between beige, stone and very pale brown, making it an incredibly useful neutral. The fine diagonal twill is subtle but gives the surface more depth than a plain weave, while the cloth itself has a smooth, soft handle and a smart, clean finish.

At approximately 200gsm, it sits between shirting and lightweight trousering, which makes it particularly versatile. It has enough body for light trousers, chinos and hot-weather suits, but is still fine enough for shirts, overshirts, shirt dresses, skirts and relaxed jackets. A really useful cloth for warmer-weather tailoring when you want the appearance of something smart without the weight of a conventional suiting.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.

Delivery

Processing Your Order: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your order is handled with care and sent out promptly.

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Please note that fabrics are cut to order, so a restocking fee may apply. Some items are non-returnable except where faulty or not as described.
