Description
Proper Yorkshire tailoring cloth, made by the renowned Taylor & Lodge mill in Huddersfield. This beautiful British-made suiting combines 80% wool with 20% polyester, giving it a lovely balance of natural wool character and practicality. The colour is a sophisticated dark brown with a subtle mixture of lighter yarns running through the weave, finished with fine pinstripes spaced approximately 2cm apart. At 237gsm, it's a comfortable medium-weight cloth with a smooth handle, a smart finish and enough body for beautifully tailored garments.
Perfect for classic suits, smart trousers, waistcoats, skirts and blazers, this is the sort of fabric that makes even a simple tailored piece look expensive. The understated pinstripe gives it a timeless, traditional feel without looking old-fashioned. British mill quality, handsome colour and proper tailoring credentials. What's not to like?

Care & washing
Allow 2-10% shrinkage to be on the safe side. Wash the fabric before making up, in the same way you'll wash the finished make, drying methods included, so it settles once rather than after it's sewn.
