Waxed Cotton - Eiger 6oz - Caramel

The warm caramel brown tones give this British Millerain Eiger waxed cotton a softer, more contemporary look than traditional dark waxed fabrics. At 200gsm, it offers an excellent balance of durability and wearability, making it substantial enough for outerwear whilst remaining comfortable to sew and wear. The waxed finish enhances the rich colour, creating depth and character across the cloth.

With its generous 155cm width, Eiger is particularly useful for larger sewing projects where fabric efficiency matters. The weather-resistant finish makes it ideal for jackets, coats, overshirts and bags, whilst the warm caramel shade works beautifully across both men's and women's designs. Over time, the fabric develops the creases and markings that make waxed cotton so distinctive, creating a unique finish that reflects how the garment is worn and used.

⚠️Due to the nature of this fabric we are unable to provide refunds on any returned wax cotton. Therefore we recommend you purchase either a sample where possible or half a metre quantities to ensure you are completely happy with your fabric.

The roll price is £30 for postage. However, if you’re happy for it to be folded please proceed as normal. By folding it will come with crease marks on the folds.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
• Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen are accurate because every screen shows colours differently.

Delivery

Processing Your Order: We aim to dispatch all orders within 1-2 working days. Our team is dedicated to ensuring your order is handled with care and sent out promptly.

UK Delivery:

Royal Mail Tracked 48 - 2nd Class Delivery: This is our standard Royal Mail service. Delivery is typically estimated at 2–3 working days from dispatch, although times can vary.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.

Please note that fabrics are cut to order, so a restocking fee may apply. Some items are non-returnable except where faulty or not as described.
