Wool Coating - Moss melton

This black moss melton is a proper British-made coating fabric — dense, warm and built to wear well. Woven from 100% wool and finished with that classic melton felted handle, it has a smooth, slightly fuzzy surface that gives coats a clean, premium look. At around 645–675gsm, it’s a heavyweight cloth with real substance, ideal for outerwear that needs to stand up to colder weather.

With a generous 156cm width, it offers plenty of fabric for full-length coats, duffles, pea coats and smart tailored styles. The structure is firm but still workable, making it a reliable choice for both traditional and contemporary coat patterns.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)

Standard UK mainland delivery from £4.95, with express options and same-day dispatch available at checkout. We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
