Too cool for school; quality sturdy fabrics

#

There is a lot of chat about the new season television. The X Factor versus Strictly Come Dancing, Downtown Abbey Versus Spooks, ITV versus the BBC; ratings and who will be watching what. It’s the countdown to Christmas and to me when these start I get excited but it does mean that autumn is here and that nights will quickly start drawing in and its going to get wetter and colder. It’s time to snuggle in front of the TV on a Saturday night and indulge in a ‘dine in for 2’, a glass of wine and be entertained. My tipple used to be The X Factor but with a new panel I may well switch to Strictly. We will have to so if they can fill the void with the departure of Simon Cowell and his cutting and accurate synopses on the performances, even though in recent seasons they had become a little tame. Unfortunately with a baby and a 3 year old I don’t have time for both. Decisions decisions!

It’s a tangent but the train of thought here is about cosy warm and beautiful fabrics, not the sparkly ballroom type but those you can wrap up in. Cool comfy and casual, moleskins, denim, corduroys, wools, knitsCapes, jumpers, wrap coats, jeans, boots, and scarves. Whatever your skill level, these fabrics will make stunning clothes
