Description

The Landgate hooded jacket is a versatile garment suitable for both men and women. It features a drawstring waist, along with various side and front pocket options, giving it both practicality and style.

Recommended Fabrics

8-12 oz. cotton canvas and twill, dry oilskin and oilskin, 8-14 oz. denim.

Notions

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless otherwise stated.

All decorative top stitching is optional. For the men’s pattern you lengthen the pattern where indicated.

Please note this is a ‘pull over your head’ jacket so you will need room to manoeuvre. If you are unsure whether to make a 10 or 12 for example, we recommend going larger.

I wanted to try my hand at making something and thought that this anorak, like what I wore in the sixties, would be a nice place to start.. I’m in my gentleman in my seventies now with a few health issues so I’ve had to change interests and am now the proud owner of a sewing machine, Sewing Bee here I come…..!
