Pebble Quilt - Dark Olive

Stitched from selvedge to selvedge in a lattice of padded ogee shapes, the curving teardrop outline you'll know from Moorish tiles, this polyester quilt looks like a tiled courtyard rendered in cloth. The colour is a deep olive, more khaki and bark than fresh green, with enough brown in it to feel warm. A faint lustre on the surface softens all that depth, and because the thread is matched to the ground, the pattern appears as gentle hollows and swells rather than drawn lines. It weighs 200gsm and comes 145cm wide, giving a substantial, padded cloth with plenty of bounce that stands away from the body and keeps its form.

Showers are less of a worry, as it's water repellent: drizzle sits in droplets on top for a while before it gets a chance to sink in. Do be realistic, though. The needle holes from the quilting go through every layer, so it won't stand up to a downpour; think drizzly allotment visits and grey, windswept beach walks instead. Olive is the colour of hedgerows and old map covers, a shade that plays the part of a neutral with more character than black. Try it beside cream cable knits, burnt orange, mustard and well-worn jeans, and you'll find it disguises the odd mud spatter too.

Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
