Pebble Quilt - Brown

Rich as a mug of proper cocoa, this brown is a deep, warm chocolate with a reddish undertone that comes through wherever the light touches the slight sheen on its face. The whole width is quilted in rounded shapes, each one swelling at the base and drawn up to a soft point, nesting row upon row like pebbles set into a path. Every shape is gently padded, so the surface has a soft, raised relief, and the stitching sits just a shade darker than the cloth, so the pattern shows through light and shadow rather than contrast. At 200gsm and 145cm wide it feels plump and cushioned in the hand, with a springy body that holds its own shape instead of draping.

It's water repellent, so a light shower tends to bead and run off rather than soak straight in. It isn't waterproof, though: as with any quilt, the stitches pass right through the layers, so save it for misty mornings, leaf-kicking walks and the dash to the shops rather than a day out in heavy rain. Brown is the shade for anyone who finds black a touch severe. It has a softer, more countryside feel and looks lovely with camel, oatmeal, rust, tweed and faded denim, and it is forgiving of a muddy splash.

Royal Mail Tracked 24 - 1st Class Delivery: A faster Royal Mail option, typically estimated at 1–2 working days from dispatch. Please note that this is not a guaranteed next day service.
Courier Delivery: We offer a courier service via Parcelforce for customers requiring a faster delivery option. We aim to dispatch eligible orders placed before 1pm on the same working day, but this cannot be guaranteed. Courier delivery is generally expected on the next working day following dispatch. Orders placed on Friday may not be collected until the following Monday. This service is tracked.

We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.

We want you to love your order! If you’re not completely happy, you can return items within 28 days of receiving your order.
