Silk Crepe de Chine - 16 Momme - Nude

Soft, understated and effortlessly elegant, this silk crepe de chine comes in a versatile nude shade that works beautifully across every season. Woven from 100% silk at 16 momme (70gsm), it offers that sought-after balance between lightness and durability, with a fluid drape and subtle texture that feels luxurious without being overly delicate.

Unlike shinier silk satins, crepe de chine has a soft matte finish and a gently pebbled surface that gives garments beautiful movement while helping them hold their shape. It's one of the most versatile silk fabrics for dressmaking, equally suited to relaxed wide-leg trousers and fluid shirts as it is to feminine dresses with gathers, ruffles and flowing sleeves. This is limited deadstock fabric, so once it's gone, it won't be repeated.

• Please allow 2-10% shrinkage on fabrics to be on the safe side. Wash before making up in the same manner as you would with subsequent washes (including drying methods)
• Please test a sample area first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.

Standard UK mainland delivery from £4.95, with express options and same-day dispatch available at checkout. We process orders Monday to Friday, so weekend orders begin processing the following Monday.
