12 wale corduroy is a type of fabric with a raised velvet surface. It's named for the number of ridges or "wales" per inch. 12 wale corduroy is on the finer side, and therefore soft to the touch - making it ideal for dresses.

Washing instructions Gentle wash at 30°C with non-bio detergent on a low spin Do not overfill the drum as this can crush the pile Take out of washing machine immediately and dry flat Do not wash with other fabrics that produce lint. Once made up wash corduroy clothes inside out Do not dry or store in direct sunlight (colour may bleach) To iron, use a medium setting moving in the direction of the pile with a press cloth |
