Como Classico - Denim - Stefano is a mid-grey denim, weighing in at 359gsm (about 10.5oz). It’s what we call a good honest cloth - not too heavy, not too light, just right for sewing clothes you’ll actually wear.
There’s no fuss here. It’s 100% cotton, so it’ll wash well, sew up without fighting you, and soften with age. Mid-grey makes a change from the usual indigo, and it’ll turn out a smart pair of jeans, a sturdy skirt, or even a jacket that looks the business without feeling like armour.
Deadstock from Italy, but with the sort of no-nonsense quality we appreciate up here. If you want denim that works hard and looks sharp, Stefano’s your lad.
